Hotel Dato Vitoria

Found a great hotel on the main pedestrian walkway - that's our room first floor on the right. The whole place was filled with strange statues and ornaments of all kinds. Our room had colourful stained glass windows that were lit up at night so the whole building glowed. Just down the road we adopted a rather special cafe/bar - like an old fashioned gentleman's club but now filled with chattering groups of regulars and shoppers lining the bar. Wonderful morcels of food and 'silver service'.

Bob and I spent a couple of wonderful days in the old walled town of Laguardia where the Rioja flows like water. Plenty of life going on within the walls.
